GETTING HERE
We're thrilled that you're planning to join us for our wedding celebration! Here's some information to help you make your way to Nukara Farm, in Nanson (Geraldton), Western Australia.
NUKARA FARM
​Nukara is a beautiful, rustic property located 30km out of Geraldton (470km North of Perth), completely surrounded by the amazing West Australian landscape.
​
BUSES
There will be a bus leaving from a designated location between 1.30-1.45pm—we will confirm details via email 1-2 weeks before the wedding.
​
There will also be two busses leaving from Nukara to drop everyone back to their accomodation. Please let us know where you're staying if you're needing a lift back!
​
Bus 1 – Leaving Nukara for 10.00pm
Bus 2 – Leaving Nukara for 12.00am
​
DRIVING
Although we highly recommend catching the bus, Nukara is only a 30-40min drive through the Chapman Valley.
FROM OVERSEAS
We're so thankful you're making your way over here from overseas – we know how long the flights are, but trust is, it'll be worth it! A perfect excuse for an Australian holiday.
FLYING TO PERTH
From experience, the best route from Canada is from Toronto/Vancouver to Sydney/Brisbane/Melbourne, then to Perth. It's a hefty flight, but it's better flying directly to Australia to avoid organising multiple visas and airport transport.​
​
AUSTRALIAN VISA
Before entering Australia, you'll need to apply for the Australian ETA (Subclass 601) Visa. This is about $20AUD and allows you to visit Australia for up to 3 months. If you have any issues with this, please let us know!​
WHERE TO stay
To ensure your comfort during your stay, we've curated a list of accommodation ideas within the Geraldton Region– there's also some options to camp at the venue!
CAMPING
Feel free to camp for free at the venue from Friday 4th April to Sunday 6th April! There’s plenty of space for tents, swags, and camper trailers, plus two toilets and one shower on site. It’s an unpowered site, but a BBQ is available. Please note, there is minimal fridge space in the bar area, so eskys are encouraged.
GLAMPING

CARAVAN
You can also hire a caravan for the weekend! Get Hitched will set it up at Nukara with bedding, towels, and furniture. Some caravans sleep up to 4 people, and all include a toilet, shower, lighting, gas, and fridge (cleaning and emptying is your responsibility).
